Puppy Training
(For dogs under 6 months old)
Puppies start learning from the day they are born so starting basic training as soon as possible simply helps your puppy integrate into your family as quickly and easily as possible. The beauty of private training sessions at this stage is that they are tailored specifically to you, your family and your puppy. At Unleashed we are passionate about teaching people and their families to train their dogs.
Getting it right at this stage helps to avoid potential problems in the future.
Training sessions typically cover but are not limited to:

Ultimately we want you to be successful with your new puppy, so we are always happy to give lots of support and advice in between sessions as part of our service.

Puppy Socialisation
It’s common knowledge that socialisation is vital for young dogs but many people don’t realise that this is not simply a matter of meeting as many dogs as possible, and many owners are nervous about the right way to introduce puppies to a mix of adult and younger dogs.
For this reason, Unleashed are happy for you to bring your dog along on one of our group socialisation walks. We know our dogs well, and carefully put together a mix of dogs designed to give you and your puppy confidence around other dogs. You will receive lots of helpful advice on canine body language, understanding play and what to look out for when dogs interact.

Country Walks
At Unleashed we love the beautiful Kent countryside that surrounds us and know that dogs love it too! We walk dogs off lead (whenever possible and subject to the owners approval) in small carefully matched groups. By doing this we know your dog will enjoy socialising and playing together safely, and we get to see firm friendships develop as well!
We will always meet and walk a new dog first so that we can get to know the dog’s individual personality, gain their trust and assess which of our groups would be the best fit. It is vital to us that your dog feels comfortable with us straight away.
Routes are always varied and include stimulating streams, woods and countryside for dogs to have lots of fun in. Drop off and collection is included and dogs are toweled off and paws wiped if necessary.

Dog Training & Behaviour
(For dogs 6 months+)
Whether you'd like to brush up on some basic obedience, recall, pulling on the lead, stopping your dog reacting to other dogs or preventing your dog barking when the doorbell goes. Training sessions are always tailored to give you and your dog help exactly where you need it.
All our training methods focus on kind, positive and reward based training using treats, praise or play. We will help you to build a stronger bond between you and your dog, and teach you to use the training methods that are most effective for both you and your dog.

Daycare
Unleashed offer doggy daycare with a difference.
Our daycare dogs get to hang out with us and the Unleashed pack. These lucky dogs spend all day exploring the Kent countryside and socialising with their friends on multiple group walks. This really is doggy heaven, especially for high energy, sociable canines.
